WANÅS ART CLUB – PROGRAM FALL 2019
October 4, 10–11.30 am: Stroller Walk
Enjoy the park during a lovely walk!
Experience the park and the art together with Elin Magnusson, Head of Education at Wanås Konst. We keep a steady pace and take a break when needed. We gather outside the entrance of The Art Gallery. Registration is not required. Free for all members of Wanås Art Club, others pay the admission fee.
October 6, 10–11 am: Try Thai Chi with Akemi Tanaka & Tomoko Hilleskog!
Slow down the pace and start the day with Thai Chi. Akemi Tanaka and Tomoko Hilleskog will guide you through the basics. Continue your day with brunch and a walk in the park.
SEK 50 for members of Wanås Art Club, SEK 100 if you are not a member. Limited number of places, please send your registration to email@example.com.

October 26 - November 3: Fall Break at Wanås Konst!
Wanås Konst has extended opening hours during the Fall Break with an extensive program of activities for all ages. During the week we explore Kyung-Jin Cho's works in the exhibition Swing Jam through various activities. We experiment with color, sound and movement. Explore the park and be creative together. Full program is coming!
November 3, 1 pm: Art Lottery
Don't miss Wanås Art Club's annual art lottery with several great prizes. As a member this year, you have the chance to win a multiple of Rafael Gomezbarros – the artist behind the acclaimed ants who climbed the castle's facade in 2016. Will you be one of the winners? Winners in the lottery will be announced 1 pm in The Art Gallery. Winners who are not present will be contacted by e-mail.
November 24: Art trip to Copenhagen
We will visit Copenhagen’s new large art center Copenhagen Contemporary, to see Jacob Dahlgren’s exhibition Art is Lifeas well as Carsten Höller’s exhibition Reproduction. At Copenhagen’s perhaps most magical place for art, the Cisternerna, we will experience the Danish artist collective SUPERFLEX’s acclaimed exhibition projectIt is not the end of the world. Last but not least, at the hidden gem Thorvaldsens Museum, we will get to know the life and the art of the Danish sculptor Bertel Thorvaldsen. Cicerones on the trip are Wanås Konst Co-Directors Elisabeth Millqvist and Mattias Givell, as well as Elin Magnusson, Head of Learning and coordinator of Wanås Art Club.

December 8, 11 am – 4 pm: Second Advent at Wanås Konst
A new year is soon here, embrace winter and look ahead to a new year together with us. As a member of the Wanås Art Club, you support the art and learning at Wanås Konst. 2020 is the year when we finally will start the project of transforming the old smithy at Wanås into a new center for Wanås Konst Learning. Join us on a tour and learn about the plans from Elin Magnusson, Head of Education, and Mattias Givell, Co-Director. Elisabeth Millqvist, Artisitc Director, will present the exhibition program of 2020. In Wanås Konst Shop & Deli we offer generous discounts for Wanås Art Club members, a chance to find creative, sustainable and locally produced gifts.
Tour in the Smithy at 1 pm. We gather at the entrance of The Art Gallery. Free of charge for all members. Reservation not required.
