EAT AND STAY IN THE SURROUNDING AREA

Östra Göinge is often described as "the green heart of Skåne.” The north-east is undiscovered, small-scale, and home to the wild forests of Skåne. The north-east is also where Snapphanes wreaked havoc 400 years ago, but these days it is a place to swim and fish in either lake or sea, and Wanås is located there in the middle of an ethereal beech wood forest. There are many lovely restaurants and places to stay in the beautiful area surrounding Wanås, which is only two hours from Malmö. You will find a more complete list in this brochure and see our tips for accommodation below.

Vånga 77.1
Vånga 77.1 is located in the middle of Sweden's apple country. Here there are plenty of possibilities for enjoying yourself. In the loft there are five modern and fresh double rooms with great views of Ivö lake. Extra beds can be added in two of these rooms. Breakfast is served on the veranda, where you can watch the sun rise over Bjäret. You can spend the night in the hammock, falling asleep to the owls hooting and waking up with the sun. You can choose to be in the apple orchard, in the forest among the trees, or down by the lake. Read more about Vanga 77.1

Drakamöllan Gårdshotell
A small road winds through the beech forest. Suddenly, the landscape opens, and there—framed by soft hills—the old manor house welcomes you. In the courtyard you'll find a thoroughly landscaped, small Renaissance garden with herbs, surrounded by well-cut boxwood hedges. Since 1962, Drakamöllan is a nature reserve to preserve this unique cultural environment. Read more about Drakamöllan
